Transformation Requires All Out Effort

The body's adaptive mechanism is strong enough to render the effects of physical activity without directed progression null and void. Exercise should be strenuous, but in a strategic sense where one is gunning for ever-responsive progressive adaptation to all selected movements, eating patterns, and rest intervals. A classic example would involve fat burning or weight loss with the assistance of supplements. Right now, the more effective products are strongly focused on the beta-agonist fat burners which correctly target the body's brown adipose tissue of beta-3 (B3) receptors. Even with the very best products in use, progressive resistance that challenges one's natural state of equilibrium with caloric position of type and tactical restriction must be employed to reach these fat receptors. In response to high intensity training, macro-nutrient portioning, and proper supplementation, the body will move through the A1-B2 receptors, especially with the incorporation of supplements such as yohimbine and ephedrine. But in response to the elimination of such fat tissue, the B3 receptors will be harder to remove, as the body will attempt to reserve and increase them, for later fat storage. This is not so much of a problem as it is a survival mechanism that can only be optimally overridden through all out effort in training output, intensity, and consistent nutrition over time. In other words, train very hard, limit your calories (but elevate their type in quality), and incorporate supplements with high concentrations of fat cell receptor site targeting weight loss substances.

Regardless of the consultation others may receive from influential sources, no one can get around the requirement of all out effort being the necessary stimulus in body recomposition results. In another example, where one wants to develop a few pounds of lean muscle mass, the principle of all out effort is obviously still the same, although structurally certain parameters (such as caloric surplus attainment) are in reverse relative to those in the prior example. For muscle gain, the focus has to be on recovery relative to incremental increases in caloric consumption in excess of that required to maintain the set point. Muscle accrual can only occur at the point of regeneration beyond the original point at which those muscle cells were broken down. This is why focusing on consumption outside recovery asserts an unbalanced perspective and little to no results. In fact, this can lead to fat storage through escalated triglyceride conversion, when that consumption exceeds the body's recovery rate with respect to nutrient breakdown, absorption, assimilation, and rest. In other words, eat a little more than your body's required amount progressively, and more importantly get sufficient rest.

Considering all levels of sophistication in training, rest, and nutrition from the simple to overly complex in structure and scope, intentionally focused effort with optimal intensity in any and all fitness areas will bring one closer to transformation rather than merely staying in shape. The art of effort lies in its creative application by the individual in question. Selection by choice and disciplined commitment are what allow results to appear as denoted rewards for consistently given efforts. Remember that this especially applies to effort - the good is the enemy of the best. So go all out.

Bodybuilding - An Extra 10 Pounds of Muscle

Putting on lean muscle mass should always be considered a reasonably slow process with pre-cautionary safety measures already in place. If someone has experience in gaining muscle through natural resistance training (inclusive of calisthenics, plyometrics, etc.), and has never taken supplements for the purpose of gaining muscle, then it might be easy to say "start with protein powder" in addition to your vitamin and mineral supplement(s) and leave it at that. But this misses the point - what is really needed is a combination of natural substances that allow the body to better partition and reconstruct stored macro-nutrients derived from one's existing food intake. In other words, before protein powder is added, optimizing the body's ability to partition nutrients from food should be the primary objective.

Once this is completed, then macro-nutrient sources can be adjusted upward through the addition of more proteins (consuming whey protein isolate or protein serum), within the current eating pattern - but only after repartitioning (possibly through the use of insulin-mimickers) activity is commenced. In repartitioning, one creates a combined stack of substances and ingests usually one unit of each individual substance or product within the stack, during meals 2 to 3 times per day. Body recomposition effects where fat loss occurs, while lean muscle mass arises usually result. This improvement pattern can be sustained for extended periods (but not necessarily indefinite, as this particular supplement application needs to be put to rest after a while -> for at least 5-7 days after 6-12 weeks of repartitioning on average).

Most people who partake in sports nutrition go through lean muscle development and weight loss cycles throughout the year. One direction does not necessarily have to be positioned to run counter to the other. One can gain a few more pounds, while maintaining or even further sharpening hardness through the use of insulin mimickers or repartitioning agents combined with modified caloric type and consumption. The recommended products below can be combined by taking one unit or capsule of each with the 2 or 3 largest meals of the day consistently. One should experience lean muscle gain beginning with the first 2 weeks where nutrients are being placed into muscle at a faster more optimized rate. Within a few months new contractile protein should start to form, but remember that gains of this quality come slowly and tend to stay with you.

Media Noise on Joint Supplements

Glucosamine and Chondroitin Sulfate have been the mainstay of many joint health programs using supplements as part of the connective tissue recovery process and overall health. Articles are still cropping up about whether or not this class of supplements is even effective, according to scientific study. This is the commercial problem industry-sponsored research faces concerning the manner, in which their findings are identified and communicated to the public. People cannot wait forever, for alternative resolutions to be validated by institutional sources with questionable credibility in the sports nutrition space. That is correct. The Medical and Pharma industries do not have enough objective credibility, as a whole from the reasonable standpoint of the average consumer. In an era where universal healthcare is still on the table (thanks to Congress and the Obama Administration for making progress), in addition to the fact that many still cannot afford adequate healthcare coverage, alternative medicinal routes will only have their avenues explored further, especially when lives are at stake.

Glucosamine and Chondroitin have produced results so consistent that monies being used to test whether or not they are effective are an institutionalized waste of taxpayer dollars. This contention is made even in light of the fact that the scientific method is systematically based in part on testing until targeted statistical anomalies are shown to exist, according to statistical significance. What the incumbent industries don't realize is that these media communications continue to reinforce consumer faith in alternative medicine, since they're constantly attacking it. Their argumentative approach would be a little more convincing if they stepped back and decided to look at things more objectively.

Now, for those who want to use joint supplements to enhance their overall health, confort in mobility and well being, the selection is only getting better with more proven options available.

Product Review: Prime by USP Labs

This testosterone booster contains the ingredients of Tribulus Aquaticus and Terminalia Chebula, the first of which is a natural test booster (variant of Tribulus, with the less effective Terristris form being more common), and the second is an adaptagen that exerts a hormanal balancing configuration on the body that excites the central nervous system for CNS stimulation. Based on the factual information of these substances, the product appears to be highly effective in its category when compared to competitor options. But, the problem here concerns the way its benefits are communicated. Even though its packaging boast strength gains, the implication is that this can be ignored or bypassed in favor of size gains. Although, the product does not make that claim explicitly, the intense focus on size, without the pre-cautionary reminder or requisite of strength will lead to less than optimal understanding necessary to attain maximum benefit. Users of this product should concentrate on incremental increases in strength and faster recovery, as these are the core experiential determinants or indicators of contractile muscle protein creation. Applied strength generates greater anabolic signalling, which can only occur in environments of successful recovery.

Users who attempt to use this product in low intensity environments without cycling will get substandard results compared to those users who strategicly target its use in a high intensity spectrum of compound movements in resistance training. Another contention that reinforces this notion is that it is suspected that the product facilitates anabolism through an anti-catabolic pathway cancelling out the effects of cortisol on some significant level. If this is true, then as good as this product is, its effects can be scaled upward for even better results. A good stack would be Prime + Anabolic Pump with meals, while using HMB + CISSUS with other meals and before/after training. ZMA should be taken before bedtime: It is also inferred that ZMA may amplify the adaptagen effects of Prime, since it rebalances hormonal configuration, during sleep. Remember to focus on strength and recovery, which always predate gains in size.

Fat Loss and Lean Mass Retention

Protecting the amino acid pool should be the first priority, before any fat loss consideration is implemented. Whenever the body raids the amino acid pool, it opens the cell membrane to pull out and break apart the amino constituents from their carboxyl group components. Subsequently the hydro-carbons are extracted for glucose conversion. The branch chain structrure of BCAAs allows them to effectively bypass the liver and saturate the bloodstream, thus acting as a diversion mechanism supplying the body with its own hydro-carbons for conversion. Internally, the raid on the cell's amino acid pool is sufficiently avoided. But it gets better. If one adds HMB to the mix, then the cell membrane becomes reinforced over time, facilitating increased protection and higher concentrations of the existing amino acid pool. Increased strength and faster recovery are the key signposts of effectiveness. In addition this reinforcement is done through transferring LDL cholesterol from the cardiac system to be used in reinforcing myocyte structures.

Ephedrine is highly anti-catabolic, believe it or not. It as an overall B-receptor agonist targets fat cells and protects muscle cells so well that lean mass retention is higher when employing its use, even outside the traditional ECA stack with caffiene and aspirin. Anabolic Xtreme has a pro-hormone enhancing product named Hyperdrol, which was best suited in this situation as a fat-burning anti-catabolic laced with the anti-cortisol mechanisms of CISSUS Quadriangularis. In sum, build a fat-burning anti-catabolic stack around HMB, BCAAs, copious amounts of Glutamine, and Ephedrine with the ECA stack as a strategic option to retain the greatest amount of lean mass, during periods of fat loss.

Ingredient Review - Ephedrine

True ephedrine alkaloids are the real McCoy, and when they're stacked with caffiene and aspirin pre-cursor white willow bark (especially in a 1:8:4 or 1:10:4 ratio of ephedrine to caffiene to aspirin alkaloids in the ECA stack), then the effects are truly authentic among fat burning substances. Before the ban, the Ma-Huang form of ephedra was so dominant that many believed that it was the only herbal variant available. Now with even stronger versions post ban such as Sida Cordifolia some have stepped up the traditional ECA stack with the addition of sinephrine, which has potent fat burning capabilities. Synephrine is substantially effective, but I suspect that it may have blood thinning effects, although mild enough to still be considered safe. Even considering ephedrine's ability to massively target the [B fat receptor site] signature overall, the real explosion of truth concerns its potent anti-catabolic capabilities.

Ephedrine directs fat burning activity towards lipids (and away from muscle cells) so well, it actually preserves more lean mass than dieting alone, provided all other factors being equal. This is a boon anyone trying to preserve and condition lean muscle. If one can preserve lean mass, while accentuating fat loss, then the body starts to take on more of shapely appearance of desired proportions. The extra lean mass preserved brings out one's natural figure or physique, since its preservation was managed, and not sacrificed through traditional modes of calorie restriction. In addition, strength is better maintained with the inclusion of ephedrine in one's fat loss program, in part due to its benefical effects on contractile strength through neurological amplification. To counteract the vasoconstriction effects of ephedrine and caffiene over time, one might want to consider investing in NO2 supplements, whose nitric oxide acitivation through Arginine AKG/KIC can expand the arterial wall enough to mitigate both diystolic and systolic pressure. Either way, ephedrine is still the ideal fat burning substance that really lived up to its name.

The Regeneration Effects of Sleep + A Note on Boxing

Sleep is the phase where the greatest level of anabolism occurs. Failure to manage this area of one's life will eventually slow gains to a crawl. Success in managing this area of one's life will speed gains on a trajectory not only in one's physical appearance, but also in other areas of life (believe it or not). Hormonally, the goal is to optimize GH and testosterone production (estrogen production in women), during this period as the body moves into a full state of regeneration. The two key specialty micro-nutrient supplements that come to mind are melatonin and ZMA. I once read that boxers should take melatonin consistently, since it realigns the brain's amygdalia, which tends to increase in susceptability to shifting off alignment, during matches or or straight knockouts. This substantially (in part though) explains the "shot fighter" syndrome - if the amygdalia is knocked off its alignment, then neural communications become impaired to the extent of increased sensitivity to being stopped and failure to get punches off, due to compromised reflexes.

Melatonin at its core allows the body to regenerate its natural hormonal configuration, thus assisting in the regulation of many metabolic processes crucial to anabolism, and lean mass preservation in periods of calorie restriction. ZMA optimizes the sleep cycle by compressing the time variable necessary to reach the REM state, where the day's information and cellular processing occur. Many quantum physics proponents assert that this particular state allows for certain anomalies to occur (i.e., consciousness possibly decoupling from the physical interface to experience alternate frequencies of existence in the universal hologram). Aside from that, one can use these products in addition to anti-catabolics like HMB to amplify the recovery effects of sleep, and reap new benefits.

Product Review - BSN Thermonex

Thermonex is one of the best kept secrets among the BSN line of products. With a highly advanced combination of fat burning substances that target the B3 receptors of fat cells in very hard to reach areas (i.e., evodiamine and octopamine), this is one of the better fat burners, but unbeknownst to most. It can be used for long periods of time, and does not seem to exhibit the fast down regulation effects normally associated with products in its category. Laced with 3 tyrosine variants inclusive of acetylated tyrosine, which easily crosses the blood brain barrier and naringin, which amplifies the potency of other substances within its biochemical vicinity, Thermonex also has sharp potency as a nootropic, and can help to retain more strength, during prolonged periods of calorie restriction.

Many fat burners are formulated with extremely low concentrations of a wide variety of substances in hopes that a synergistic network of effects among these components addressing the different areas of fat loss proves sufficient. This may not necessarily be the case. Thermonex is formulated to be very effective with high concentrations of select key ingredients, so what one really gets is a product with strong biological area focus without being structurally overbroad in its nutriceutical design. Fat loss products designed along this principle tend to be the more effective products long term, since the design constraints encouraged very decisive tradeoffs, during product development. In addition, the product does not rely on its caffiene component the way many competing products do, as it has other substances in its matrix that target through neurological stimulation, receptor site signature, and metabolic consistency. Thermonex also has extraordinary versatility when combined with other supplements like ephedrine and white willow bark to mimc the ECA or Ephedrine/Caffiene/Aspirin stack.

In the paradox of choice, remember selection is not fully independent of circumstance, even though one's imagination can allow it to be when vividly seeing all other things being equal to isolate the best fat burner. With Thermonex, consumers are already a step ahead in resolving the paradox here.

Product Review - IDS Waximaize

This is the most effecient glycogen source, by far. Ingestion of waximaize can help one strategically place a higher concentration of amino into muscle cells, within a rather short period of time. As the cell wall opens up in response to the insulin spike initiated by the waximaize carbohydrate, the membrane's surface area can sharply increase without sacrifice in integrity. This is the optimal state for anabolism: Optimizing for maximum amino acid capacity within the muscle cell per measured unit (i.e., grams) of protein ingested is the ideal perspective. In other words, waximaize may assist in extracting the highest amount of nitrogen from protein sources when macronutrient absorption post-training is at maximum capacity.

In addition, it can also enhance the osmotic effects of creatine within the cell, and accelerate power from the increase in efficiency of the actin and myosin sheets moving across the sarcoplasmic reticulum. This is what enhances true contraction power and strength. Caffiene has a similar ability (but actually more limited long-term), although it is not as well positioned as waximaize since mexylxanthines tend to downregulate somewhat quickly. By allowing for greater phosphate production via ATP synthesis and increased phosphate cycling, the applied increases in contraction force through heavy compound free weight movements amplify the body's anabolic response. This response as one would logically guess leads to increased recovery requirements that result from increased breakdown. Therefore, it is imperative to use waximaize with creatine monohydrate post-training, along with anti-catabolics (i.e, HMB) pre-training. Also, waximaize can also be stacked with protein to create a meal replacement within the correct nutrient partitioning parameters (i.e., 40 grams of protein to 25 grams of waximaize).

Remember to keep your options open, especially when dealing with product selection: Waximaize is highly versatile and can work with other supplements to scale conditioning and lean mass gains, in sync with one's training and eatting patterns.

Compound Movements

Rule number 1: To substantially increase the size of targeted bodyparts, efforts must be focused on free weight compound movements that work multiple muscle groups to a point of intensity and duration than what that same effort could produce if the target group was worked alone in isolation. In other words, decline dumbbell bench presses and/or dips on an arc will put far more size on one's chest long-term than dumbbell flies done in isolation. It gets even better, as the same aforementioned movements will also put more mass on one's tricep's than the isolation-based triceps pressdown or skull-crusher. There's another principle at work here regarding a trade-off that one strategically needs to make at certain points in the program.

The "Compound versus Isolation" dichotomy is really more of a question regarding tactical balance of movements selected along these continuums in one's long term training strategy. There are times when isolation can be strategically incorporated into compound training (i.e., pre-exhaustion of pecs with flies before decline and incline bench presses). However, the vast majority of time, when pursuit of sheer quality muscle mass is the objective, then usually the fastest route is to fully leverage almost all training movement selection towards the use of free weight compound movements and focus conditioning efforts in the area of nutrition. Some personal trainers (not all) have an issue with this, since many teach their clients to use isolation movements to condition the muscle. While this is true, the aforementioned strategy of compound movement selection and strict nutrition attains the goal of amassing quality size much faster.

To test whether or not this works with the correct supplementation, combine HMB, CISSUS, Glutamine Peptide, Lecithin, and Phosphatydserine for a max anti-catabolic stack, while using Anabolic PUMP to assist in repartitioning the increase in calories into muscle cells.

Product Review - TRAC Extreme NO

Nitric Oxide (NO) production can accelerate long-term gains in muscle accrual, since arterial wall expansion can in addition to insulin-mimickers increase the macronutrient saturation point required for skeletal muscle cells to process nitrogen and related amino group components. Not only is this helpful, but it's a requirement, for the reason that all nutrient distribution and transfer takes place in the bloodstream. This also alerts users to the fact that purifying the blood stream with liver detoxification supplements and those for nephron health in the kidneys (i.e., cranberry and sufficient water intake) is also necessary for optimal protein absorption, amino acid assimilation, byproduct removal. TRAC can assist users strategically by increasing the capacity of the body's cardiac system, thus resulting also in increased blood volume, which in turn carries more macronutrients.

What makes this product's case interesting is the point at which the above is designed to occur: pre-training and training phases. By assisting the body in expanding the arterial wall in response to train intensity and duration, the product's stimulatory mechanism allows users to exert greater effort, which entices the body to expand its cardiac capacity in synergy with increased NO concentration. Consistent use over time can create a self reinforcing viral that extends NO production and cardiac expansion fairly quickly maxing out at one's genetic limit. Therefore, TRAC should not have its focus steered towards indefinite NO production, but more towards sufficient NO production necessary to allow the body's increased blood volume to carry more protein into the tissues than what would have occurred without using the product.

In the pursuit of lean mass gain, keep in mind that NO products are really what I call carrier supplements whose strategic value lies in their ability to biologically set up conditions that increase the distribution, transfer, absorption, and assimilation of macronutrients needed to process muscle. TRAC tactically focuses more on the first two processes, allowing the body to better manage the execution of the last two.

TRAC Extreme NO

Extraordinary

Results of this caliber require nothing less than herculean effort, on a consistent basis. Outside of genetic limitations, this is the true factor of differentation, the decisive moment that separates the best from the rest. In all walks of life, exceptional people are consistently proven through clear demonstrations of exceptional effort. The gym is no exception. Many will say that they want an energy drink or pre-training stimulant to give them the energy to get through the workout. I say bet on the person who wants it to push training intensity further than ever thought possible. The exact difference in mindset between these two perspectives is the exact difference between an extra 12 of more pounds of contractile muscle (at a lower bodyfat percentage) within a year's period, provided that all other factors are equal. Even considering such a theoretical view, this basic point is virtually undisputed: Extraordinary Effort = Extraordinary Progress.

Now the question becomes "How". Exercise is really the artistic application of scientific principles of kinesiology for body recomposition design. Supplementation is the artistic application of scientific principles of biochemistry and nutrition to body recomposition through biological control. By training harder and using the correct supplementation, one also experiences an overlooked effect not normally noticed under less intense conditions: Ineffective supplements whose understood proposition fails to produce, will usually get exposed. This is exactly what manufacturers of ineffective products fear at the end user level. A precise method of testing supplements is to figure out the intended mechanism before use, then scale training volume and intensity, during product deployment. If certain or specified initial effects are not seen within a designated period of time, then it's time to move on. An example, would be unpatented HMB, which is a knockoff of the real thing. The very first effect you must notice with this product is reduced muscle soreness and related post-training pain. If one cannot experience faster recovery within the first 1-2 weeks of highly intense training, then it's not real HMB no matter what the claims. Therefore, a commitment to high intensity training must come first, but can only be accompanied by extremely effective supplementation with highly specified effects identified beforehand.

With that said, one can step up training efforts with a combination of anti-catabolics and pre-training stimulant(s). You need both, although the anti-catabolics are more important in the sense that one take anti-catabolics long-term without pre-workout stimulants, but not other way around. Anything that sharply increases workout capacity and intensity in application will cause more breakdown, which has to be sufficiently hedged against through anti-catabolic supplementation.

Get Size Fast

For those who want quality size in a short period of time, you must intensely focus all strategic and physical efforts quickly on 3 areas: (1) incremental but nutrient dense increases in caloric consumption, (2) highly targeted repartitioning, and (3) recovery to accelerate tolerance for high-intensity workouts. You only have 2 weeks to assess the initial results, so here it is:

Use Anabolic PUMP, Vanadyl Sulfate XX, and R-Alpha Lipoic Acid as the repartitioning stack (1 capsule each) only with larger meals. Stack GL6 Glutamine Peptide and Whey Protein Isolate for post-workout and night-time protein consumption (I'm missing casein here, but we want to focus on more anabolic substances with only the highest nitrogen concentrations, in the meantime). Use GL6 and HMB together prior to training and 3-5 hours afterwards for recovery. If enough time passes between the last GL6/HMB stack, then one can position HMB with the GL6/Whey Protein Isolate stack before bedtime. Creatine monohydrate is still the preferred version for maximum size, it should be positioned post-training with the Anabolic PUMP, Vanadyl Sulfate XX, and R-Alpha Lipoic Acid stack (1 capsule each), just before the post-workout meal. This stack can also be used in the morning, on non-training days. The goal is to increase the body's capacity for all around nutrition absorption and expansion of skeletal muscle. Don't worry too much about the creation of contractile muscle from amino acid intake over time. Macronutrient tissue saturation in terms of amino acids, glycogen, and intramuscular good lipids has to come first and on a consistent basis even before new skeletal muscle has a possibility of being created. This is also new perspective of looking at an old problem concerning size gains. Protecting the amino acid pool through repartitioned protein and LDL lipids through anti-catabolics like HMB and Glutamine establishes greater protein accrual over time, even at the same amounts ingested. It's also how much one retains, in addition to caloric intake.

NOTE ON CALORIE INCREASE:

The key is to escalate your calorie intake towards the optimal amount, at which muscle cells can adequately absorb the resultant macro-nutrients without crossing the threshold that activates fat storage through triglyceride conversion. In other words, don't eat too much at any given time. Instinctively, caloric control for rapid size gains can be done by consistently eating into one's satiation range, not that of fullness. Repartitioning stacks allow for increased caloric consumption, as it expands nutrient absorption capacity. The trap is the convention of indefinite calorie increase, which doesn't work due to the main aforementioned concern. Ironically, by controlling the consumption intervals in range(s) of greater tolerance and the subsequent consistency of amino acid release over time, results in terms of the intended direction can be noticed within the first 2 weeks, provided that training inputs are at max capacity: This is according to applied intensity through heavy compound free-weight movements.

Product Review - NO-XPLODE

As good as this product is, it can be made to work better through advanced stacking, and nutrient positioning. The key concept for long term effectiveness is to target its use towards the upper extreme of high intensity training, while on a modified caloric intake or restriction within that 1 hour or more training window. By stacking NO XPLODE with anti-catabolics (i.e., HMB, GL6), the body's GH mechanism for pulse release and IGF-1 conversion is maximized, and the post-training insulin and enzymatic sensitivity is maximized for scaled nutrient uptake.

It is crucial not to ingest calories before training, while consuming this product, as one wants to maintain the integrity of GH optimization on the front end, and maximum insulin release and partitioning rebound potential on the back end. Compound movements that focus on building power and/or size should be the primary movement types for training under the aforementioned condition(s). Spacing between uses should be flexibly adjusted according to present recovery requirements. This will better maintain the ability to plan for and adhere to future high intensity sessions.

By strategically controlling the stressor output and the caloric distribution pattern, one can actually train the body to lower its fat stoers, and to increase the amino acid pool within muscle, leading to the creation of more contractile protein as muscle mass. When to deploy products like NO XPLODE (such as before training on an empty stomach) can sharply contribute to desired recomposition effects. Another key point is timing amoung not only products used, but also when and how they are proportionately positioned relative to each other and training stimuli.

Product Review - GL-6 by Sports One

Many glutamine products on the market have their enhancements based on specific glutamine variants, such as those that are peptide bonded or bonded with another highly absorbable substance optimizing transport and assimilation. What makes GL-6 interesting is that it's specifically formulated to scale the absorption effectiveness beyond that associated with normal glutamine. This is what users want, but it has a major challenge. Increased nitrogen retention and its continued sustenance at maximum levels within the blood stream will at some point adversely affect turnover, as the body at certain intervals must release some nitrogen through waste associated with macro-nutrient turnover. In other words, to avoid symptoms or minimize risk of irregularity, increase the fiber intake (FiberSOL) proportionately to consumption of glutamine and protein.

This product can sharply accelerate recovery and mass gains, especially when stacked with other anti-catabolics such as HMB and CISSUS just prior to intense training and with protein (i.e., Syntrax Nectar Whey Protein Isolate) afterwards. A considerable portion of the issue of sports supplement effectiveness is tied directly to delivery systems associated with the core substance for almost any given product. For example, glutamine alpha-ketoglutarate or glutamine AKG is really NO2 bonded glutamine designed to increase nitrogen concentration in the blood stream in significant part by expanding the arterial wall in response to nitric oxide production.

This can actually increase the volume capacity of the cardiac system for a number of different supplements. Malic acid, as also bonded to glutamine in GL-6 also intensifies absorption, thus leading to higher nitrogen concentrations. But it gets more interesting, as its Acetyled Glutamine component may bypass the blood-brain barrier and act as a tertiary catalyst in cognitive support, while optimizing the brain's HPT axis and GHRH production. Therefore, GL-6 may have target nootropic properties, and can therefore be used in brain function as well as bodybuilding and powerlifting recovery supplement stacks.
